Health Insurance Vasectomy

President Obama said he will help fix the health care system, and along with Congress and the Senate figure out a way so that no one is left uninsured. This means everyone will get the medical treatment they need in case something terrible happens. This is especially important for families with children, or surviving spouses that are living on a very small fixed amount of income without huge benefits. It also helps many people who are in the workforce that are barely making minimum wage or higher and cannot afford health insurance.

President Obama has asked the American Medical Association and all the doctors to cut the costs of medical care and perhaps, take a little bit less money for the operations, surgeries and healthcare services they provide. He is also talked to the pharmaceutical companies about how they might also help lower health care costs, along with insurance companies. Many corporations were not so pleased by all this, but will work the system later with lobbyists.

Unfortunately, President Obama did not talk to the American Bar Association or ask the lawyers to forgo many of the large medical lawsuits for malpractice and other things. Some in the medical industry say that the legal industry wouldn’t even exist if it wasn’t for them. Often doctors pay 30% of the amount of money they make in medical malpractice insurance.

If they were able to pay less than that, this could transfer to lower medical costs and insurance premiums for everyone. Should lawyers have medical lawsuit limits? After all, if we are asking other practitioners in the industry to cut their fees, costs and salaries; shouldn’t the lawyers also, and perhaps, limit the (sometimes called outrageous) amounts of money they sue for? Please consider all this.
