Vasectomy Waiting List

There are a lot of things to think about when you are close to delivering your baby. You need to make sure that the baby room is ready to go and you are most likely getting the baby seat put in the car. No one really thinks about the stress of being in the hospital and how chaotic this can become. There will be a lot of people at the hospital that want to see you and the new baby. This can get hectic and can be overwhelming for you and your significant other. You need to think about this and plan ahead so that you are able to decrease the stress related to the delivery process.

It is important to start thinking about who you want at the hospital and any special requests you may have a few weeks before your baby is born. You need to take the time to talk to your partner and discuss who you want at the hospital and just how many visitors you actually want in and out of your room. It is best to make a list of who you want to see and who can actually wait until you arrive home. Take this list with you when you go to deliver and ask the hospital staff to honor your wishes and make your delivery as enjoyable as possible.

You are also going to want to think about other requests as well. Take the time to think about the fact that you will have a phone in your room. Are you going to want to have a lot of phone calls? If you want to enjoy some quiet time with your immediate family before you give birth, or shortly after, you may want to ask the hospital staff to remove the phone from your room. Removing the phone may not be an option. If that is the case you can ask the staff to hold all of your calls and ask them not to release your number.

It is possible that you will upset some individuals with your requests. However, you need to remember that this is your day. You and your partner can decrease any ill feelings by designating someone that you trust to be the call person for you. Make a list of important contacts and ask this person to call these individuals and keep them updated on any progress. This takes the stress off of you and gives these individuals the information that they are looking for.

By taking the time to discuss these topics with your partner you will be decreasing stress related to your baby’s delivery. You will be giving your new family time to bond and grow to love one another right from the start. Babies are exciting but this is about you and your immediate family. Your friends and family need to realize this and respect your wishes. Take the time to discuss them early so that you will have a pleasant delivery.
